A stability indicating capillary electrophoresis method for analysis of buserelin

A simple and rapid stability indicating method based on capillary zone electrophoresis has been developed and validated for the analysis of buserelin (BUS). The best separations were achieved by using a bare fused silica capillary (75 m i.d.; 65.5 cm total, 57.0 cm effective length), phosphate buffer (pH = 3.00; 26.4 mM), at 35 °C. The sample was hydrodynamically injected at 50 mbar for 5 seco...

Cyclodextrine Screening for the Chiral Separation of Carvedilol by Capillary Electrophoresis

Carvedilol is administered as a racemic mixture of the R(+)- and S(-)-enantiomers, although it was demonstrated that the two enantiomers exhibit different pharmacological effects and stereoselective pharmacokinetics. The aim of this study was the evaluation of several native and derivatized cyclodextrines as chiral selectors for the separation of carvedilol enantiomers. Stereoselective interact...

Evaluation of Acetonitrile Deproteinisation of the Serum Samples for the Analysis of Drugs in Serum Using Capillary Zone Electrophoresis

Deproteinisation with acetonitrile (along with methanol or other reagents) is a useful and rapid technique in analysis of drugs or their metabolites in human serum. In this paper application of this simple technique in biopharmaceutical analysis using capillary electrophoresis (CE) is evaluated. Some drugs with different ionic and protein binding properties were selected and dissolved in human ...

Analysis of illicit amphetamine seizures by capillary zone electrophoresis.

Capillary zone electrophoresis was applied for the determination of amphetamine and related substances in seized drugs. A buffer made of 0.1 M phosphoric acid adjusted to pH 3.0 with triethanolamine was selected. With this background electrolyte, triethanolamine is adsorbed to the capillary wall and the electroosmotic flow is reversed. This gives rise to peaks with good symmetry, high efficienc...
